Barcelona clinched the La Liga title for the 29th time in their history, and the second consecutive season, after a 2-0 victory over their archrivals Real Madrid in El Clasico.

Goals from Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres secured the win for the Catalan side.
Barcelona now lead the table with 91 points, holding a 14-point advantage over second-placed Real Madrid with just three matches remaining.

For only the second time in history, Real Madrid watched a rival celebrate a La Liga title on their own turf. According to the statistics account “Mr. Chip,” the first instance occurred in 1977 when Atletico Madrid were crowned champions at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Additionally, this Clasico marked only the second time in history that the title was decided in a direct encounter between the two giants, the first being in 1932.
