Zenit is closing in on a deal for 26-year-old Colombian defender Kevin Andrade, with the transfer fee expected to be around €3.2 million, according to Ivan Karpov. The transaction is anticipated to be finalized in the coming days.
Lokomotiv Moscow had also shown interest in Andrade, offering roughly 350 million rubles, but aimed to pay in installments. The defender, however, declined the move to the Cherkizovo-based club.
Andrade has been with Baltika since 2024. This season, he has made 32 appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal. Transfermarkt values him at €3 million.
On May 10, the defender was sent off in the 12th minute of a Russian Premier League match against Lokomotiv, which Baltika lost 1-0. After the game, Baltika head coach Andrei Talalaev suggested the red card might have been due to the player’s “suitcase mood” — a phrase implying he was already mentally focused on his move.
Due to the suspension, Andrade will miss the final match of the season against Dynamo Moscow.
