Reports suggest that Brad Stevens is expected to gauge the trade market for Jaylen Brown this offseason as the Boston Celtics consider potential roster adjustments.
According to Brett Siegel, “Rival front offices are already preparing for a big change to happen to the Celtics’ roster this offseason, and team president Brad Stevens will evaluate the market for what upgrade he could possibly make in a trade involving Brown, sources said.”
However, the report also emphasized that no final decision has been made regarding Brown’s future with the team.
“Nonetheless, this does not definitively mean the Celtics will trade Brown, as Stevens’ comments during his end-of-season interview did not indicate a clear direction.”
Brown has played 10 seasons for the Celtics, averaging 20.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 674 regular-season games. He has been selected to four All-Star games, won one Finals MVP award, and claimed one NBA championship.
